He is Johann Bernhard Sagel.  He was born 15 June 1815 (by the catholic, black line of Eastern-Westphalia) of Lohne (the Netherlands Sagels are also from Lohne) bei Lingen who came to the USA in 1839 on the ship named Charlotte.  He died 9 March 1902 in Hamburg, IN, USA.  The lady on the left is Catherine Sagel Mengelkamp, his daugther, the others are his grandchilds. Maybe the one to the right is also his daughter ?!
